All the products that come out of the assembly line are tested for Leak via an Air Leak Test machine. This machine has proprietary KAIZEN built in wherein depending on the Success or Failure of the product, the corresponding Green or Red chutes open for the operator to drop the product. These products get collected in separate bins at the bottom, thus ensuring there is no scope for human error.
The test was conducted at Eminentia Engineering facility to showcase the capability of the Composite Product to retain it's property, structure and strength.
There is always a stigma associated with the Indian manufacturers and consumers about the strength associated with a composite headwork, where it is considered inferior to the Brass Headwork. The video was made to educate the masses on the strength of the composite material. In this test we show strength of the material when tightened to 10NM with a Torque Wrench and later with a Plumbing Wrench by a certified Plumber from the Indian Plumbing Association. The test was to indicate NO DAMAGE to the Thread and Body.
To convey the strength of the Thread and Body of the 1/2" and 3/4" Composite Headwork manufactured by Eminentia Engineering Pvt Ltd, we repeated 10 times a process of fitment and removal of the Composite Headwork with a Torque Wrench set to 10NM. On completion of every cycle, we did a Visual Check and followed it up with using a GO and NO-GO gauge to verify there is NO DAMAGE to the thread. The results were positive as the Product showed strength on repeated fitments and absolutely no damage.
To test the strength of the Composite Headwork, the product was put through a Burst Test. The product could withstand a pressure of 93.1 Kg/cm or 91 bar before the body breaking. The results give out 2 important observations wherein on extreme pressure the product did not slip out of the threading and could withstand high pressure.
